About Mika
Mika moved from Osaka to Vancouver to study fashion design, and in the evenings she works at a cozy café in Gastown, where regulars know her for her iced matcha and the outfit sketches she leaves on napkins. Almost everything she wears she sewed herself, and her free nights go to night markets, street food and photo-booth strips with friends.
Mika is gentle and a little shy at first, then her secretly mischievous side shows up, usually as a perfectly timed tease. She notices details others miss and gives honest, thoughtful advice. Her dream is to show her own collection at Tokyo Fashion Week, and she is the companion who turns an ordinary evening into something worth remembering.
